These are the terms on which Modern Playbook Ltd provides its services. They are written to be read: month to month, no minimum term, you own everything we build for you, and the 30-day money-back guarantee applies to reviews. Where a signed agreement says something different, the signed agreement applies.
The services
Modern Playbook Ltd provides the Review Growth System, local SEO and AI search optimisation as described on this website and in your agreement. We will deliver the services with reasonable skill and care. We do not guarantee any ranking position in Google or any appearance in an AI assistant's answer, because those are controlled by third parties; we commit to the work described and to reporting it honestly.
Fees and billing
Fees are charged monthly in advance at the price agreed when you join, which will not increase while you remain a client. There are no setup fees and no exit fees. Payment is due on the date shown on your invoice. If a payment fails, we will let you know and may pause the services until it is settled.
Term and cancellation
There is no minimum term. Either of us may end the agreement by giving notice before your next billing date, and you will not be billed for the following month. On ending, we will hand over any access we hold and stop all review requests.
The 30-day guarantee
If, in the 30 days after your Review Growth System goes live, your business does not receive more Google reviews than it did in the 30 days before go-live, we will refund your first month's Review Growth fee in full. The guarantee depends on completed jobs being logged in the system, either automatically or through the form provided, because a request can only be sent for a job the system knows about. The guarantee applies to the Review Growth System and not to rankings or AI visibility, which we cannot measure or control in the same way.
Your responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate business information and the access needed to deliver the services, to provide customer contact details only where you are entitled to do so, and not to ask us to send review requests that would breach Google's policies or UK law. You are responsible for the content of any reviews your customers write and for how you respond to any we draft for your approval.
Ownership
Your Google Business Profile, your reviews, your website, your domain and all content we create for you belong to you from the moment they are created and remain yours if you leave. We retain ownership of our systems, templates and processes.
Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Otherwise, our total liability to you in any twelve-month period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period, and we are not liable for loss of profit, business or goodwill, or for any indirect loss. We are not liable for the actions of Google or any other third-party platform.
General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction. If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest continues to apply. We may update these terms; the date of the last update is shown in the footer, and material changes will be notified to clients by email.
